About the series
Tapis Volant is a fully integrated course in three stages written specifically for secondary school students learning French in Australia and New Zealand.
Totally revised and updated, Tapis Volant Senior is purpose-written for senior secondary students. The content has been developed in accordance with the individual Study Designs and Collaborative Curriculum and Assessment Framework for Languages (CCAFL), and the text material addresses themes and topics relevant to today’s youth.
The Student Book consists of ten chapters, with suggested listening, speaking, reading and writing tasks, and an extensive French-English glossary. It also comes with a Speaking Wordfinder on CD ROM that allows you to seach for words and hear their pronunciation.
A comprehensive Grammar Booklet, organised according to the SB units, is packaged with the SB or sold individually.
The Workbook includes a DVD of ten short video clips modelling the language and structures introduced in each chapter, and the Audio CDs offer over 4 hours of listening material and comprehension activities.
The Teacher Resource Book contains teaching pathways, notes on methodology, supplementary material (BLMs), audio transcripts, practice exams and solutions to the WB and TRB activities.
